I’m taking a break from farming this weekend. Instead, Dan and I will be participating in the Jersey City Artists’ Studio Tour. The studio tour is a citywide event where around 400 artists will be showing their artwork at various venues throughout Jersey City. Our art will be displayed at the Golden Cicada Tavern on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
- A painting inspired by the walkway at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden last spring.
The proceeds from the sale of my paintings and Dan’s photography will be donated to the Watoto Wa Africa orphanage in Tanzania that my friend Suzy and I will be going to in February. We’ll be having a wine and cheese reception at 4 p.m. on Saturday, so it would be great to see anybody in the area!
