Flowers Near and Far
Last week was my kids’ spring break. We were lucky enough to get seats on a standby flight out to San Diego. We had a great time in sunny San Diego and enjoyed a few lovely flower-filled hikes while we were there. Here are some pics of flowers far (San Diego) and near (home in Kalamazoo).
Marching Into Spring
Happy March! The month is starting off on a warm note, which is making the garden wake up earlier than normal. It’s nice to see a little color return!

A Summer Garden Tour
I’ve seen a few listings recently for garden tours in my area. People share what’s growing in theĀ gardens they take care of in parks/ schools or their home gardens. While I’ve wanted to attend, it just hasn’t worked out for me to go. Maybe you’re in the same boat but have time for a garden tour from the comfort of wherever you’re reading this? If so, let me put some of the multitude of flower pictures I snap to use and share some of what’s been flowering recently in my neck of the woods.Ā
